Podcast Summarythis is me podcasting my selection of music mixed, live or from my crib. hope you enjoy it. About KarlBorn in the Dominican Republic, Latin America's new Mecca for electronic music, Karlanton became a self taught musician in various musical genres. Since his beginnings he would jam with his friends playing the guitar, always listening to rock, techno pop of the 80s, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242, even reaching the more experimental like Nine Inch Nails, Nitzer EBB, etc. Currently in the Dominican Republic he has played in clubs of such prestige like Abacus, Blanc and Elite, opening for international stars such as Luke Fair, James Zabiela, Adam Freeland, Tarrantella & Redanka, Junkie XL, Marco Bailey, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Richie Hawtin, Jose de Divina, Magda, Maus, Sandra Collins, Marco Carola and Josh Wink. He considers his opening sets for James Zabiela, Luke Fair, Junkie XL and Richie Hawtin as his most fulfilling and interesting performances to this date. Karlanton is not only part of one of the first booking agencies for DJs in his native country, known as Visionario, but is as well a graphic designer of mayor influence and whose portfolio has been used on events related to the electronic industry; working directly for Abacus and PAV Entertainment. His mayor musical influences are Josh Wink, Sasha, James Holden, Ricardo Villalobos, and producers like Nathan Fake, Luke Fair, etc. His present spinning is mainly based in Minimal, Click, Deep Tech, Progressive and Breaks. Karlanton adds that he is constantly seeking variety, an uncommon sound in each genre, the mixture of these genres, creativity and the search for THAT specific sound, and his fondness for non-conventional producers, of newer generations, he is known to say, I play things I like and think the crowd will like, but I am not afraid to spin a track which might be thought of as too twisted or bizarre. His last recorded session was broadcasted in Proton Radio on April 9th. Fans of this Show
